Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership

Project Manager, Executive Education
Salary: £29,614 - £35,326
EN28156
Closing date: Sunday 24 October 2021

Achieving sustainability is the greatest challenge of our time and outstanding leadership will be crucial if we are going to meet this challenge successfully. The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership draws on the intellectual breadth of the University and an international network of leading thinkers and practitioners to help business, finance and policy leaders understand and act on pressing issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, resource depletion and inequality - developing innovative responses to address them.

Our work has never been more relevant as leaders in business and government look to 'build back better' from the Covid-19 global pandemic. In our eyes, this means an economic recovery which prioritises investment and innovation in solutions to climate change, the restoration of nature, whilst delivering inclusive, resilient societies.

The Education Team is a fast-growing team within the institute, expanding our reach to enable more participants to join our programmes online and in person, to catalyse change within their organisations and at a wider system level. We are looking for someone excited to work with influential organisations and support us to continue growing our work.

The role

As Project Manager you will be responsible for projects involving international business leaders, government officials, board members and senior functional staff. You will work in our Executive Education team, delivering projects and events to a range of clients including in CISL's international markets. You'll have experience working in a variety of environments where you've been given responsibility for delivering projects or events on time and to budget, drawing on the talents of a range of different internal and external stakeholders.

If you can apply your experience and skills to help us influence thousands of business professionals and their organisations, then we can offer you a unique opportunity in managing an exciting portfolio of virtual, blended and face to face programmes that help learners and their companies grapple a growing number of global challenges.

When applying, let us know how you can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of project management, including managing project teams, financial planning and delivering work to a high quality within project budgets and tight time frames
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
