CISL draws on the intellectual breadth of the University and an international network of leading thinkers and practitioners to help individuals and organisations understand and act on pressing issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, resource depletion and inequality.

We are looking for a creative and driven marketing professional with a wide range of skills to support the continued growth and impact of our online learning portfolio. This exciting portfolio has significant global reach and impact via a suite of courses covering leadership, communications, sustainable business and finance.
As a core member of the marketing team and working closely with the Digital Learning team you’ll oversee, develop and implement a range of marketing programmes and campaigns to generate interest from individuals and companies. There will also be a strong focus on content creation in this role, using external experts and agencies and liaising with our network of thought leaders to create assets.  

You’ll project manage and own the delivery of specific marketing plans predominantly using digital marketing. There will be a strong emphasis on managing tactical activities to ensure that objectives are delivered whilst being supported by senior leaders and the wider Communications & Marketing team. 

You will be managing innovative digital marketing initiatives and have a strong commercial mind-set with lots of new ideas and fresh thinking. It is essential to have excellent collaboration skills and be able to effectively manage key partner / stakeholder relationships. 
There will be a high degree of focus on digital channels in this role, harnessing our websites, our social media presence and our new cloud-based CRM (Dynamics 365) and integrated marketing platform (Click Dimensions).

You’ll be expected to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:

•    Experience delivering successful digital marketing or managing the digital marketing elements of multi-channel campaigns
•    Affiliate marketing experience and experience managing partner and agency relationships
•    High level of competence across new technologies such as digital learning, social media, online tools, apps and other software packages
•    Content -led marketing; organic approaches to lead generation, as well as pay per click and targeted direct marketing
•    Commercially aware and able to manage projects, including drawing up and monitoring budgets and KPI’s
