The role
CISL is looking to recruit a motivated, skilled business analyst to join the IT/Digital team to help CISL to become more efficient in its operations and to scale effectively.
As part of a digital transformation programme, CISL has invested in a comprehensive Microsoft technology stack. We are now looking for someone to bring the process know-how and personal drive to help deliver real business change by enabling business simplification and process automation.
With proven experience in MS SharePoint, Teams and leveraging the insights of the Power Platform (especially Power BI), this role provides an opportunity to make a real difference to our business operations through bringing improved business processes and data driven insights. This is a hands-on business analyst role - where you will be expected to work closely with business colleagues to capture their requirements and see projects through to implementation.
We are expecting the successful candidate to bring structure to the business transformation effort:
- To capture and maintain a backlog of potential digital process enhancements
- To systematically document process requirements and seek new ways to simplify, eliminate and/or automate outcomes
- To build up a knowledge of CISL operations and data to bring dashboards and reporting to life
- To provide support in adoption of new processes (incl training, documentation, etc)
Key skills and experience:
- MS SharePoint, Teams experience and desire/ability to build skills in Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI.
- Experience working on business process change in a complex organisation
- Experience working directly with user teams to capture and document requirements and to help implement new solutions
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to ensure that requirements are understood and that business colleagues feel included within the transformation process.
- Motivated self-starter able to take responsibility for small projects and delivering outcomes
Note this is not a deeply technical role, but the individual will be expected to build a working technical knowledge and be able to apply this to designing simple and effective processes.
