  • A high-level panel discussion on the EU long term decarbonisation strategy to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 and how business, policymakers and investors can work together to mobilise capital to scale up the actions needed to build a low carbon future.

  • President-elect von der Leyen has signalled that she will propose a European Green Deal at the beginning of her mandate, with a commitment for Europe to become the first climate neutral continent at its heart. Just as the new European Commission kicks off, hear about the potential pathways to turn climate neutrality by 2050 into reality and seize the opportunities from this ecological transition. An ambitious policy framework is needed that links short and long-term policymaking and brings immediate benefits to people’s everyday lives. International partners and ambitious businesses will share their perspectives on how to enable businesses and investors to deliver actions needed to transform Europe’s economy.
