Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business (PCSB)

The Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business (PCSB) is a 10-month Master's-level graduate programme, delivered part time for working professionals.

The programme is designed to strengthen your leadership skills, help you embed sustainability in your organisation or use your supply chain to achieve positive, transformative change.

Within the course, you can choose from two streams depending on your role and discipline, professional interests and learning needs.

Embedding sustainability within the context of an organisation, from strategy through to operations.

Driving sustainability across an organisation’s supply chain and the markets in which it operates by creating value across the full life cycle of a product (from its conception to its end use).

Course details and accreditation


A 10 month part time course, the PCSB is fully accredited by the University of Cambridge.

The course is:

  • Widely regarded as the leading Master's-level programme globally for individuals seeking to enhance their ability to lead and influence change for sustainability.
  • Designed to enable you to catalyse change within, and beyond, your own organisation by strengthening your leadership skills to deliver sustainable change and develop ethical and resilient supply chains that are fit for the future.
  • Delivered through a blended approach of online learning and residential workshops in Cambridge.
  • Successful completion of the PCSB results in a Postgraduate Certificate from the University of Cambridge (60 CATS points at Level M).
  • PCSB alumni are welcome to apply for the Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership (worth 180 CATS points) or use the credit gained toward the Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Business (PG Dip, worth 120 CATS points)
