25th aniversary

Founded in 1994, the IDBE has proved to be of huge benefit to past students and their employers. Through the development of networks, like-minded professionals continue to exchange ideas and support long after they have completed the course

Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership Network

IDBE Alumni will join the CISL Network of sustainability professionals who represent business, the public sector and civil society in every industry worldwide.

Social media

Our Facebook page and Twitter feed provide an excellent way in which alumni can keep in touch with what is happening at Cambridge. There is also an IDBE LinkedIn group for alumni of the programme. In addition to our formal social media presence, each cohort often creates their own groups across various social networking platforms.

Returning to Cambridge

Alumni are lifelong members of Wolfson College, so can easily book inexpensive accommodation in Cambridge for visits, and are also welcome to book in to Formal Hall. Some arrange reunions with old friends from their IDBE years. Some just pop into the office for a chat.  Others contribute to the IDBE more formally as lecturers, visiting teaching fellows, or members of the steering committee.

Achievements

Promotions have followed the maturing of professional knowledge and improved communication skills; new ventures have been formed stimulated by renewed confidence and new insights; and design competitions have been won and contracts secured as a result of refreshed thinking.
