Katherine Hirst

Katherine is responsible for the operational management of CISL’s education team, working closely with the Directors to develop the strategic direction of the team and portfolios. She leads the team’s work to ensure we have the processes in place to achieve educational excellence, including our work on equality, diversity and inclusion.

Katherine joined CISL in 2019 originally as a Senior Project Manager delivering the Unilever Young Entrepreneur Awards. Prior to CISL Katherine worked across the non-profit sector for a range of national and international organisations. Katherine’s held a varied portfolio of roles, bringing together skills in people management, operational management, leadership training, project management and communications. Katherine holds an MSc in International Development from the University of Bristol and an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge.
