How can policy makers and leading businesses collaborate to unlock a sustainable, inclusive, and zero carbon economy?

The University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) works to build the leadership capacity necessary to tackle critical global challenges. CISLs Policy team, based in Cambridge and Brussels, works at the UK, EU and international levels to deliver influential projects that include The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group (CLG), a founding member of the We Mean Business Coalition, and the EU Green Growth Platform.

The team’s mission is to bring business leaders and policy makers together to accelerate action on climate and sustainability issues, by drawing on business experience and thought leadership from the University of Cambridge and other experts to inform the debate and influence the speed and direction of policy. The team plan for an international expansion of their work, building on an excellent record of mobilizing business voices, curating innovative insights and securing high-level EU engagement.

This role is an opportunity for an experienced project manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced team, working with senior business leaders and European policy makers to unlock new climate change policies and support the transition to a sustainable economy. The successful candidate will support an ambitious programme of engagement between businesses, ministers, policymakers, and academics, as well as new content and business development, and fundraising in relevant areas.

Applicants must be committed to the values that underpin CISL’s work and should demonstrate in their application the required skills and experience as outlined in the Further Information for this role.
