Benefits of the PG Dip

Participants successfully completing the programme will:

  • Gain a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Business accredited by the University of Cambridge;
  • Demonstrate interdisciplinary approaches to solving complex problems in relation to sustainability challenges;
  • Develop a ‘systems’ perspective in understanding and responding to complex sustainability challenges, drawing on multiple interdisciplinary insights;
  • Enhance their ability to influence, advancing their ability to communicate sustainability-related messages effectively to non-sustainability audiences;
  • Increase their ability to act as effective change agents within their organisational context, actively putting into practice appropriate levers for change;
  • Be actively involved in the ‘co-creation’ of sustainability ‘solutions’, using creative problem-solving techniques and innovative learning approaches and collaboration;
  • Further their ability to undertake sound, applied research in sustainability using a relevant research methodology, and to write up the findings convincingly;
  • Hear directly from leading industry figures on how they have addressed various challenges;
  • Become a member of our alumni network, which includes over 6,500 CISL alumni, faculty and contributors from around the world, who are leading the way in turning sustainability thinking into practice.

"The PG Dip is of interest to me because working in sustainability in a large multinational can be challenging professional and personal journey and therefore the ability to share knowledge, experiences and learn from colleagues in other sectors would be of huge value"
