Growth and Sustainability: Re-Thinking How

The next South Africa seminar of the Business & Sustainability Programme will be held at the Spier Hotel & Conference Centre outside Stellenbosch. It will explore how our current economies and societies have come to be the way they are, the systemic risks we and our institutions now face and the role of business in leading viable responses that will take us to a sustainable future.

Over three days and nights, a diverse group of senior executives from local and global firms as well as from government and civil society will discuss with Core Faculty and a range of expert contributors the implications of resource depletion and climate change, the problem of continued growth, the potential for a new economic paradigm, some of the more inspiring responses of business and the requirements of leadership in these times.
