Enos is a South African-born entrepreneur and investment banker. He is Managing Director of Green Transmission Company (GTC), a developer and funder of advanced grid infrastructure to accelerate connection of renewable energy to electricity supply systems.

Biography

Enos has over twenty-five years of professional experience in law, investment banking and business operations. As a lawyer, he advised in some of the seminal transactions of the then recently democratic South Africa related to privatization and complex infrastructure project financings. He has also developed policies in ICT, energy, and drafted national laws in telecommunications and municipal finance.

He has served as regulator of the energy industry in the country. As a banker, served as country head for Credit Suisse First Boston and later, head of Africa for HSBC Corporate and Investment Bank, responsible for the African continent. He has deep senior executive operational experience, particularly in the energy sector, as well as a successful start- up track record in the energy, telecommunications, financial services and technology sectors. He also has significant global board experience related to JSE, NYSE and LSE listed companies. Enos is a member of the New York law bar, and an Advocate of the Supreme Court of South Africa.
