Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)

15 September 2014 – The purpose of this half-day seminar, hosted in partnership with Bank Negara Indonesia, was to explore whether there is value inherent in the BEI and Indonesian banking industry collaborating to ‘green’ banking services.

The seminar attracted senior representatives from Indonesia’s financial services authority the OJK, as well as seven Indonesian banks, five international banks and a range of subject experts. Following key inputs from the Partnership for Indonesia’s Sustainable Agriculture (PISAgro) and the OJK, a number of opportunities for cross-sector collaboration were identified during this fruitful session.
